This is not acceptable to me because I can't always remember the long directory path to get to my files on my own computer. I've always been used to keeping my Documents, Pictures, Videos, Desktop, etc. On my Mac, suddenly my files are buried under obscure directories under ~/Library somewhere. It's like a starter web page made by children for children. It really has no good features that make it act like a professional service.
It totally ignores Mac and Linux devices, where I had to buy and install ExpanDrive to use my OneDrive like I do on the PC.Īccessing OneDrive via a browser is a joke. For a while it worked pretty well (on Windows). I used OneDrive for a while because I have Office 365 (which I hear is going away) and it gives me 1TB of online storage to go along with it.
